InSync’ is offered to children and young people in a group aged between 5-18 years. This programme not only supports the young person but also their parents and carers. The course looks at anxiety, building emotional resilience as well as empathy, using interactive resources and a tailor-made workbook for the whole family to use at home.

AIMS for INSYNC CYP

  • Recognising feelings and the effects on the body both physically and mentally.

  • Building confidence and self esteem.

  • Promoting meaningful decision making and reflection.

  • Exploring self regulation.

  • Providing tools for emotional resilience including mindfulness and emotional first aid kit.

  • Identify positive outlets for feelings.

  • To learn what empathy is and how to help others.

Our workbooks have been carefully tailored for our young people with a KS1 and KS2 appropriate option depending on your childs capabilities. The workbooks allow the children to make the tasks at hand fun and also encourage activities to take place at home when we aren’t there to prompt or support. 

  • To have a greater understanding of feelings in children and how they manage these.

  • To be able to recognise unhealthy behaviours.

  • To work with children to support them to build emotional resilience and confidence.

  • To explore positive outlets with children and build on their emotional first aid kit.

  • To build confidence in parenting and knowledge surrounding mental health.

  • To understand brain development on a small scale and why children present with certain behaviours.

parent and carers face to face or virtually.
